The journey of trekking and bathing at Giang Tien waterfall in the old forest of Binh Dinh will take visitors to a wild and peaceful land.

At the end of May, when the heat was intense, Mr. Tran Van Be (born in 1991) and a group of 5 friends went on a trekking and waterfall bathing trip in an old forest located in An Quang commune, the southern district. An Lao mountain, about 110 km from Quy Nhon city.

Mr. Be shared: "To avoid the sweltering heat of summer days, we went to mother nature to cleanse our body and spirit. This trip took us to Giang Tien waterfall, located in the village. An Hau, belongs to An Quang commune, H're ethnic group.

If starting from Xuan Phong Nam market, An Hoa commune, visitors will have to travel a distance of 15 km on the pass by motorbike, then stop at the foot of the heaven gate in An Hau - the place where earth and sky meet through the mountains. cloud. After parking here, people continue their journey by walking for about 3.5 km through the terraced fields of the H're people, where it is the sowing season with bright green colors. The walking distance is not too long, and during that distance, visitors will admire small, neat wooden houses located among terraced fields. This is the ideal place to rest and drink water during hard working days.

Small trails winding between the mountains and on the banks of clear and cool streams lead visitors to Giang Tien waterfall with its majestic and seductive beauty.

The height of the waterfall will certainly surprise everyone, estimated at about 40 meters, stretching from the top of the mountain to the foot of the waterfall, curving softly like a strip of white silk in the middle of the vast green of the jungle. A special feature is that at the foot of the waterfall there is an ancient wading tree standing alone, firmly among giant rocks, facing the waterfall. The ancient wading tree is not only a stopping point for those who want to take photos, but the H're people also made a swing out of sturdy forest rope so people can sit and rest.

After exciting moments, experiencing cool water, playing and bathing in waterfalls, Mr. Be's group decided to camp and cook. That afternoon, they sat on the rocks at the foot of the waterfall, enjoyed grilled meat in the middle of the forest and listened to the constant sound of the waterfall.

"Our dinner includes grilled pork belly, grilled chicken, bamboo-tube rice, scad soup with wild vegetables and myrtle wine. Under the moonlight of the 12th lunar month, Giang Tien waterfall still appears with soft curves between "Dark night. Experiencing the feeling of night in the jungle, the sounds of insects and frogs resound, mixing with the sound of the waterfall, creating an endless harmony," Mr. Be shared.

If you are a local in Binh Dinh, visitors can join a day trip. However, to fully experience the An Lao mountains and forests, you should camp overnight to enjoy the wild flavors of the forest and bathe in the waterfall all afternoon and the next morning.

The next day, Mr. Be's group woke up early, had breakfast and enjoyed a stream bath. Afterwards, they clean up the camp and ensure environmental hygiene, ensuring waste is collected and nature returns to its original state before they left the mountains.
