Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as Linh Mu Pagoda, is recognized as a national monument of artistic architecture. The pagoda is located on Ha Khue hill, on the northern bank of the romantic Perfume River, about 5km from Hue city center.
History records that Thien Mu in Hue was personally examined by Lord Nguyen Hoang and built in 1601. Hearing that, Lord Nguyen Hoang decided to build a pagoda here and name it Thien Mu Pagoda - meaning "midwife of heaven".

1. Tam Quan Gate
This is the main gate leading to Thien Mu Pagoda. The gate consists of 2 floors, 8 roofs and 3 walkways (symbolizing the 3 worlds of Human - Demon - God) along with a sturdy, solid red painted wooden door. In particular, around the park there are statues of the Protector God protecting solemnity.
2. Phuoc Duyen Tower
This is a tourist destination not to be missed when coming to Thien Mu Pagoda Hue. Phuoc Duyen Tower has architecture typical of Hue Imperial City. The tower has a height of 21 meters and 7 floors. Each floor has a similar design with the main color pink and each has a Buddha statue.
3. Dai Hung Palace
Dai Hung main hall has unique and magnificent architecture built entirely of solid cement. This is the place to worship Maitreya Buddha with a statue depicting his wise, tolerant and benevolent appearance. In addition, Dai Hung Palace also preserves a grand pagoda and a finely carved bronze sun-and-moon bell. Inside the hall is a temple with the statue of Tham The Buddha in the middle, Van Phu Bodhisattva on the left and Pho Hien on the right.
4. The tomb of the late monk's tower
Venerable Thich Don Hau Thich Don Hau is a famous abbot who has contributed a lot to the history of the development of Vietnamese Buddhism. During his lifetime, he had many public service activities to help people, so he was respected by many people. To show gratitude to this famous monk, the people and pagoda administrators buried him under a tower deep within the grounds of Thien Mu Pagoda.
5. Ksitigarbha Palace
Located behind Dai Hung Palace, Dia Tang Palace is located in a peaceful natural setting, with a large yard covered in green grass and a clear blue lake in front. This is also a destination not to be missed when tourists visit Thien Mu Pagoda Hue.
